I got notified by another minitokyo member, that some of my gallery items are
not showing anymore. As I had to find out, even some of my so called "Most
Favored Submissions" seem to be broken. Clicking on their thumbnails won't
lead me anywhere. I'm not really sure if the items got deleted or just the
linking of their thumbnails somehow messed up.

Err, I disagree on this. If you are looking for machine with the widest variety
of titles then the PC > PS2. Probably the only category that actually
lacks on the PC's side is the "beat 'em up" one, on the other hand
there are categories like RTS games, mmorpg which are really dominant for PC.
And let's not forget about fps... it's really painful to play an fps with a
console, the mouse+keyboard combo is by far best and most comfortable one. So
yes I root for PC as a gaming platform

one: freedom.
The PC gives you the freedom to choose your own hardware and software and
through this also the way a game looks and works. For most games, you can create
your own mods, maps and player models, you can save the state of the game
whenever you like and you can freely configure your input components (mouse and
keyboard).
When you are good, you can even make your own games.
Doom 3 is alright, but after you played it once, there is no reason to ever play
it again. The gameplay is just too linear, all you have to do is walk along the
predestined way and shoot on whatever comes along.
It's better hidden in Half-Life 2, but the most freedom you get in Far Cry which
let's you decide how to make your way from point A to B. I played it around 3
times and I might even re-install it some day.

to the place I got the scan from, that it wasn't mine or that I scanned it
myself. I even provided a link to the page of its creator, whenever I knew about
it.
All I have to do, is add an explanation to those scans, which I posted
before.

spoke it, I didn't like learning it (Latin was treated too much like a dead
language).
On the other hand, it's a good way to make things sound more mysterious by using
its Latin name. My nickname is Latin, for example.

bout fighting, but they are spending more time with speaking and staring at each
other than anything.

bad, but I'm happy that they made a second version which is much better.
I also dislike animes which were only created to advertise some products, such
as "Pokemon", "Beyblade" and "Yu-Gi-Oh!".

A quality wallpaper with a clean
character picture which fits nicely into the bg (colour wise, also with the
lightning and doesn't float over the ground) is a good thing, but to make it
special, it shouldn't look like everything else.
Some original effects, a well done
surrounding (scenery, space, abstract) or even a simple and smooth (or rough, if
necessary) design which just happens to match the character is always needed to
make your work stand out of the crowd.
